The Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus Council submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Energy in response to their Notice of Intent to invest up to $1 billion in a demand-side initiative to support the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs. HFCBC members from both the private sector and transit agencies would benefit from a more robust market of hydrogen offtakers. View our comments.

The HFCBC sent a letter to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) regarding their legislative proposal to consolidate the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA’s) discretionary bus grant programs. This letter urges APTA to include language directing FTA to award bus grants based on market demand, not political priorities, to ensure that FTA’s programs are responsive to agencies’ needs.
